ARA Electrical trading as Transelect recently carried out Level 3 Design and Level 1 Construction to establish power supply for an exciting new property on the South Coast of NSW.
Dovecote is the latest luxury getaway to grace the South Coast and is situated between Kiama and Gerringong, a 90 minute drive south of Sydney.
‘Headland House’ and ‘Escarpment House’ are perched on the rolling hills of the Illawarra; offering unparalleled comfort, privacy and exquisite coastal views from every angle.
Maintaining the property’s pristine aesthetics was an essential part of Transelect’s work on the project. Architect Andy Carson designed Dovecote “in direct response to the immediate and greater landscape”, so that guests could connect with their natural surroundings. With this in mind, Transelect found a way to position new above-ground assets, such as power poles, so that this stunning property, and its equally stunning views, remained clear and unobstructed.
The Transelect technicians provided the extension of roughly 1,000 metres of underground high voltage cabling in order to provide supply to a new dedicated pole mounted substation. Furthermore, Transelect successfully sought separate approvals for a high voltage supply cable which crossed above a RailCorp tunnel.
Now that everything is connected and complete, this idyllic getaway is yours to explore.
