The inaugural ARA Outback to Oasis – Ride for Good is a five-day, off-road cycling adventure tour with the goal to raise $500,000 for the ARA Endowment Fund.
The ARA Endowment Fund generates tens of thousands of dollars annually for registered Australian charities across Australia. The charities are chosen by ARA employees, with a portion of the funds going to each charity.
From October 20th to the 25th , 2026, up to 50 cyclists will travel along the iconic Mawson Trail from Laura to the Penfolds Winery in Adelaide, South Australia. This legendary trail carves a path through a tapestry of breathtaking Australian landscapes and sweeping vistas. Embarking on this rugged, untamed terrain, a ride of beauty, and raw adventure, is an unforgettable journey.
Each participant will aim to raise $10,000, with the collective goal of reaching $500,000 through sponsorship and fundraising. 100% of the funds raised will contribute to the ARA Endowment Fund’s target balance of $10 million to support various charities.
The top Tour fundraiser will receive an official ex-team ARA Factor Ostro as a prize.
