ARA has strengthened its manufacturing capabilities and security product offerings through the addition of Leda Security Products.
Effective as of 1st July 2019, the ARA Group acquired Australian manufacturing business Leda Security Products, which specialises in the fabrication of bollards, gates, fences, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) products and bicycle racks. Their diverse range of products, offerings and services are dedicated to ensuring the protection of people across the building and construction industry, councils, state and federal government, universities and education centres, stadiums and recreation areas, shopping malls, mining industry, public events and open spaces.
For Edward Federman, Executive Chair and Managing Director of the ARA Group, this acquisition represents a significant opportunity for ARA to establish itself as a premier manufacturer of physical security products in Australia and New Zealand:

David Matthews, Leda’s founder and principal shareholder, was pleased to announce that the sale of the Leda company, which was finalised on 9th August 2019, was successfully negotiated with the ARA Group:
