At ARA, we believe that our responsibility extends beyond business operations, encompassing the well-being of the communities in which we operate.

Our mission is to create a lasting legacy of charitable donations, ensuring ongoing support for generations to come.

Established in 2009, the ARA Endowment Fund embodies this commitment. Our vision is to grow the Fund’s balance to $10 million, a milestone that will enable us to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars annually for charitable causes across Australia. Achieving this dream will cement the ARA Group’s legacy of enduring support for the Australian community.

The ARA Endowment Fund currently has a principal balance of $4.5 million. Our goal is to grow the ARA Endowment Fund principal balance to $10 million and more in the future. At the time of our last Endowment Fund Gala Event, our principal balance was $3 million.

The principal balance remains with the Endowment Fund and the earnings of the Fund each year are donated to registered Australian charities. For the coming year we have turned over the choice of the Australian registered charities to our employees. Across the group over 90 charities were nominated across our key divisions. All our divisions are currently selecting two Australian registered charities each, to support over the next 12 months. Through your support of the ARA Endowment Fund, you are ensuring a steady and growing source of funding for the worthy charities chosen by our employees

Along with these charities chsoen, the ARA Endowment Fund will continue to donate and proudly supports:

The GO Foundation Dedicated to empowering Indigenous youth through education into the workforce.

The Indigenous Literacy Foundation: Through publishing books in first languages and literacy programs, this Foundation works to bridge the educational gap, promoting lifelong learning and opportunities for Indigenous children, with the focus on improving literacy rates within remote Indigenous communities.

The David Lynch Foundation: Known for its transformative initiatives that promote mental well-being, including programs specifically designed for Indigenous Australians.
